I try to stick to one style per room such as, space age, op art, danish contemporary, etc..I have found that going minimal in the space that I have works well. The room that you have can also be accented with varied lighting. There are lots of examples of contemporary mod style furniture everywhere. Wether you are economy driven (like me) you can find items in places such as, Ikea, Eurway, Ebay and Thrift Shops. There are also online collector sites, Go Mod, Retro Online, Mod NW, etc. Over the past I have found in Department Stores good copies of such designer names as Eames, Miller, etc. There are also good budget examples of space age, danish and mod style textiles and fabrics. Books are also a good resource for ideas and can be a guide to help you find a style that suits you and your living space. You can find most of these books online on sites such as Amazon, Borders, B&N and Ebay.
